Case Study
Aviation Sign Writing – Hanger 8 Zebra Skin
Early morning and the aircraft is tugged from its hanger ready to have the final finishing touches done before jet setting off to impress and to separate itself from the herd!

On Friday 17th May 2013 Trademark Signs and Graphics undertook the challenge of sign writing a Bombardier Global Express private jet for the 2013 European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE2013)
At very short notice we produced and finished hundreds of square metres of multiple drops of black gloss vinyl to create a zebra print design and applied it to the exterior of the jet, tail fin and engines.
The installation took our team 18 hours to complete and we worked through the night so it was ready to fly out to Geneva from London Oxford airport in Kidlington. By using a system of drops we were able to tile install the vinyl speeding up the fitting process.
Meticulous care was needed not to damage the exterior fuselage of the aircraft and its mechanical parts but also not to ruin the already careful cleaning and polishing done by the detailers.
